The Bucket Backlogs were reviewed during July 2007. This resulted in an increase in Buckets to be eradicated even after the June 2007 delivery.

The difference between the August 2007 Backlog/September 2007 Delivery and the Actual remaining September 2007 Backlog is due to the buckets that do not qualify under this programme, namely in pre 1994 established townships.

These have been excluded from the new September 2007 Backlog and include buckets mainly in the Free State and Northern Cape.
